Through exploring my Lesbian identity, I perform works that reference queer history, community, resistance, and the intimate nature of textile with the queer body. My work seeks to create a recognizable and unapologetic visual language while re-exploring history. This work ties together my direct community and intersects iconography with the idea of mark making on the body.
Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text for future visitors to this website. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags and a vibrant crowd celebrating LGBTQ+ pride."
Three 35mm film portraits of lesbians, all in black on white background, large scale printed, on left depicted is a Labrys symbol, in the middle a carabiner, and on the left text across the chest.
