This image comes from a larger series I began last year exploring lesbian love in public space in Marseille, specifically along the seafront. Throughout this project, I meet women in love and photograph them outdoors in moments of pleasure, where their bodies bask in the sun and cool off in the water when the heat becomes overwhelming. I take time to talk with them about their relationship and their connection to love, and we quickly build something beyond the moment. I value creating a true encounter with my subjects, sharing conversations about their intimacy as well as my own.
[Visual Description] Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags."
Two women swimming underwater, topless and close to eachother.
