The LOVE project is a celebration of queer love through the lens of my lived experience as a Black queer woman and fine artist. In every frame, I seek to capture the beauty, resilience, and tenderness that define queer relationships, while challenging the norms of visibility and representation in art and society.
Queer love exists as both an act of defiance and a sanctuary. Through this series, I explore its complexities—moments of joy, intimacy, and solidarity, alongside the shadows of vulnerability and resistance.
This work is deeply personal and deeply communal. It speaks to those who rarely see their love mirrored in the world and invites viewers to witness our stories with reverence. It is a tribute to our power, our softness, and our undeniable presence.
