Most Australian millennials will recall the immense yearning and anticipation that came from choosing a cake from this book. The talk of the playground at recess, it was rite of passage for many of us. Watching my sister and her wife flipping through it, days before the arrival of their long awaited son, I felt both acutely nostalgic and boundlessly excited to find out which one he would choose, and if I was up to the challenge of making it.

[Visual Description] Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags."

A pregnant woman stands behind a woman whose face is partially covered by the cover of a book she is reading. The woman behind he reads over her shoulder. The title of the book is 'The Australian Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book'.
