Glamoor! is Edinburgh’s longest running drag show hosted by Mystika Glamoor at The Street. This is where to find the capital’s lesbian population on the first Monday of every month. Saphique is the show stopper, there to close out the night and guaranteeing there will be a full house until the end.
Edinburgh’s queer spaces are very small, the stage often the small space left once everyone is packed in. I have been photographing the show for approaching ten years, documenting the scene the way a mother would document her family and carrying on the tradition of Lesbian With Camera.

[Visual Description] Describe your photo so we can provide alt-text. Example: "Two women holding hands and smiling as they walk in a pride parade, surrounded by rainbow flags."
A burlesque performer stands amongst a crowd with her back to the camera. She has just done a reveal, now standing in thong and pasties as the crowd around her yell, wave their hands and clap.
