Two bodies in the sun, mid-laugh, mid-sneer, mid-summer. The beach is crowded, loud. umbrellas blooming in every direction, yet this small uprising insists on being seen. A hand-painted sign slices through the blue sky: “Fund Whores Not Wars!”
I’m interested in what happens when protest shows up barefoot and sunburned. When softness and spectacle hold hands. The camera lingers in that in-between space—where pleasure becomes political, where visibility becomes a dare. Their gestures are playful, but they don’t ask permission. They offer a kind of glittering refusal: to be quiet, to be ashamed, to be drafted into someone else’s narrative.
