- Being a lesbian is both an identity and a responsibility. One rooted in visibility, care, and connection. Through my work as a documentary photographer, I explore gender, identity, and community within Toronto’s queer landscape, capturing intimate, collaborative portraits that reflect lived truth. I’m drawn to the beauty, resilience, and complexity of queer life, and I aim to create images that feel honest and affirming. My practice is grounded in trust, storytelling, and activism. I aim to amplify voices that deserve to be seen and heard. Being queer shapes how I move through the world: with intention, solidarity, and a deep commitment to representation.
